House is Sex-ay!

Who knew that the doofy-looking dad from Stuart Little could be uber-hot? I’m serious about this. Look at this man and tell me he doesn’t ooze sex appeal like Tara Reid’s stankgina oozes pus? As the Vicoden crunching, cane-utilizing, cranky, mysoginistic, misantrophe Dr. Gregory House on the Fox’s surprise hit (shit, I was surprised. Weren’t you? This is the same network who turns shit out like John Doe. What is it, you ask? Exactly!), Hugh Laurie plays the good doctor like he’s Dr. Perry Cox’s evil twin brother, which would be apt due to House’s penchant for melodramatic soap opera. As much as I love John C. McGinley, however, I would take Laurie’s House over him any day. His barbs are more wicked, his quips come faster and sharper, and the guy’s sarcasm is so biting that I’m surprised it doesn’t get a starring credit of its own. Ah, House can mistreat me any way he wants, if you know what I mean and I think you do (if you don’t, you’re either retarded or I’m really bad with sexual innundoes).

    Right on target! The show is fantastic, the dialogue is fantastic and House himself is beyond fantastic.

    LOL. Yeah, I love this show and it’s main star.

    Robyn, I may be a little late to the “I luuuuurves Laurie” party, but boy, I can honestly say that I’m now good and ready to worship at the altar of the exalted Hugh Laurie. :)

    Hmmm, this is odd as we don’t yet have this show but know Hugh Laurie well from such programs as ‘A Bit Of Fry And Laurie’. Have yet to see him in a ’sexy’ light - but am looking forward to it!

    Love love love love Laurie.

    A bit of Fry and Laurie made me giggle, which always sticks a face in my head for future reference.

    But I even liked him in (OMG, perhaps I shouldn’t type this) Stuart Little.

    I’ll be looking for the show…

    By the way, if you can hunt down videotapes or DVDs, find the old “A Bit of Fry and Laurie” shows. Or, for that matter, get the Black Adder series — you won’t regret it.

    I’m sorry but he was the best Bertie Wooster I’d ever seen. I keep waiting for him to speak with his real accent. It’s just TOO WEIRD that he does American so well. He does a fine goggle eyed numbskull with Rowan Atkinson. UmmmmmErrrrr Darkadder! That’s it.

    Turns out - and I did not know this - that the head writer for House - who just won an Emmy is from the same city as I am. I’m defintely going to have to check out this show tonight
