Don’t forget to floss!
From my buddy Spikedru:
Hello? Vampire! In fact, if his hair were dark it would obviously be Angel. One day your Marquis will come, snap your neck and drink your blood like wine. (Actually, as M+B go, this was alright but contained a staggering lack of vampires. Although it made up for it by having a highwayman which is right up there with pirates in terms of kink – I blame Adam Ant who was the first person I had a crush on.)
Heeeey… as I remember, when Angel was human, his name was Liam and he had a really bad Irish accent. I can just hear this guy saying, “Hello there, my lassie, do you mind if I take a nip? You smell like Ben-Gay and that really turns me on”. Anyway, maybe my three week vacation had softened me up, but I kind of like this cover. The chick has her back turned to us, so we don’t see her heaving titties and her dress is even kind of nice (from the back, I mean). I can’t get over homeboy’s WB hair, though. What’s with that? He looks like one of those guys from Supernatural or something. Okay… and maybe a little bit like Adam Ant.

Hooray, you’re back! Happy 2006! Hope you had a good trip. Can we see pix of your tan? Or at the very least, you could taunt those of us who live on the cold & gloomy parts of the globe with descriptions of gorgeous weather and beaches and…. *sigh*

welcome back. Now return to your job of singing, dancing and entertaining us.
I like that cover too. Too bad it didn’t Save The Regencies.

Not that this matters much, but that cover art looked so familiar that I just dug through four piles of TBR books looking for it. Ta-da. The cover must have been recycled for use in the U.S. for Nicola Cornick’s THE WAYWARD WIDOW.
