What’s it All About, Reilly?

Sometimes I can tell what a book is going to be about just by looking at the cover. It’s a gift. Just by looking at this, for example, I can tell that it’s going to be about a man who falls in love with a lounge singer, only to find out that she’s actually a man. The rest of the book deals with him trying to figure out if he can just walk out of the tranny’s life or stay with her and risk being ostracized by his friends and family. That’s a fact you can take to the bank, Jack. But this cover? I’ve been looking at it for a few minutes now and I really can’t decipher anything about it. The cover itself is almost pretty albeit the freakishly skinny legs of the girl model. Just check out her deformed back leg. I think it’s polio.

The subtitle proclaims it to be “A Brand-New Three-Way Wager Novel”. Does this mean that this woman sleeps with Reilly’s brothers all at the same time with the wager that she will outlast them all? Does Reilly get to keep her because he was the only one who could keep up with this sexual monster? Hmm… I’ll have to think more about this and get back to you guys with the verdict.

Thanks for the cover, Amber!

That back leg of hers threw me off, too. After studying the picture for a few moments trying figure out what could have gone wrong I realized that she is straddling his knee. Are they playing Giddy-up Horsey?
