I'm not fond of stories where people have sex for reasons other than the hot. Magical babies, saving the world, enlightenment - all = <I>Meh</I> for me. I read one of those too. While I do admire the author for reaching a few thousand miles east of the traditional range of historical Romance – Meh. The hero practiced some religion that preached enlightenment though sex – and, strangely, this was NOT HOT. But that’s probably just my biases talking. I’m not fond of stories where people have sex for reasons other than the hot. Magical babies, saving the world, enlightenment – all = Meh for me.
