Oversized cop glasses, a cop hat perched rakishly on his head, and a t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off. Mmm… it’s like he went to Party City and specifically chose the costume named “Gay Cop”. For some reason, I keep hearing the song “In The Navy” by the Village People in my head. Crikey, all this guy needs is nightstick in his hand being wielded in a slightly suggestive way and his outfit would be complete. I am quite enamored by his arms, though. That barbed-wire tattoo encircling his bicep is totally cheesy, but he’s totally working it. Go, gay cop! He’s kind of cute, huh? Nice jawline, cute nose, sharp chin. I just wish those gigantor cop shades weren’t covering half of his face ’cause I would really like to see his eyes. Maybe he’s cross-eyed. Eww. And I’m not very impressed with the bulge in his jeans. You’d think the art department would have stuck a ball of sock there to make him look more…um… happy to be there. Ooh… check out his hand, chickies. It’s nice… and veiny. I’m just not sure if I like this cover, though. I’m not big on the whole cinéma vérité thing. It’s like the art department didn’t even try. Maybe all they did was stop some hot guy on the street, asked if they could take his picture posing next to some asshole’s red car, gave him twenty bucks for his trouble, and sent him on his merry way. I wonder if he got to keep the hat and the badge.
And how psyched am I over this new Joey W. Hill book? I love that bitch!

Have you ever watched “It Takes a Thief”, on TLC? He totally reminds me of the skinny one who does the burgling. Who, btw, did a commercial for a gay phone sex line….
He does look like a guy who could give you a good tune-up, though.
I’ve read this one; Natural Law remains my fave Joey Hill.

Say what you will, but I’d be happy to speed in his jurisdiction!

He reminds me of ’90s pornstar Derrick Lane. I don’t much like this cover. His crotch is unimpressive and his butt looks flat. That just doesn’t work for me. If a guy’s ass doesn’t make me wanna smack it or inspire acts that would get me arrested in Texas then by golly something’s wrong!
I love Joey W. Hill ,too. Her stories are really intense. So far my favorites are the incredible Natural Law, Holding the Cards, and If Wishes Were Horses. Just looking at the cover of Natural Law still makes me shiver more than a year after reading it.

I thought the EXACT SAME THING when I first saw this cover… I did read it though since I like Joey W Hill and it was a good read.

I can’t wait to read this book. I love her stuff! I think Natural Law is my most favorite e-book evah.
I can’t wait for her print-book Vampire Queen’s Servant. It’s going to kick ass.

You know, Dee, the Village People also have a song called “Hot Cop.” lol. I’m not kidding; it’s on their “The Best of the Village People” CD. XD

It sure looks like the photographer was just driving around the neighbourhood looking for “talent”! I bet he was washing his car when they spied him…
Natural Law is one of my favs, also Ice Queen & Mirror of My Soul. Can’t wait for a look at this one.

“Natural Law” is my all time favourite of Joey’s too, but she never disappoints. NEVER! I took “Chance of a Lifetime” with me when I went for a mammogram, because I knew it would be a complete distraction.
And yep, I got so throughly distracted, I nearly forgot to go back for the results! Which gives you some idea.
It’s hot (of course), but soooo romantic and beautifully written – as always.

I have personally met the Cover model on this book .
1. no way is he gay , much the oposite!
2. his behind isn’t flat , It is grabable
3 he is a very funny and smart, and has served in Iraq.
4. Elloras Cave is responsible for the poses and the props
their covers are very cheesy lately.
5. if you want to see what he really looks like look him up on myspace
Jason Santiago .
