The first time I looked at the cover and the cover of the first book, I laughed. The covers are horrible and obviously their artists are not very good with photoshop. These covers are so bad, if you ever see the first one, you'll think this one was a step up. The first one is absolutely horrible. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought these were crappy. I have a copy of Darkscape: Rebel Lord, but I can’t find Book 2. I have this thing about not wanting to read a book if I can’t immediately get ahold of the sequel. Damn it! I don’t want to pay 29 bucks for a book that might suck. Though I looked around for an e-copy of that book (there were none) and all the reviews were like… “WOW… THIS BOOK IS TOTALLY AWESOME… TOO BAD YOU CAN’T FIND A COPY OF IT, ASSHOLE!”

grr. I wonder if I can email the author and ask her to send it to me.
