Here’s Your Dream Man

Hey, whores, I’m back. That’s right, you can thank your lucky stars now. Heh. Anyway, while I was out, I read one or two things, and guess what I discovered? This frickin’ author is amazing. The character development, the world building, the romance itself… all good stuff, you guys. Her Darkscape series is brilliant… too bad it’s out of print because LTD went out of bizness. Tough break, homey! Somebody ought to pick up the ball on this one and republish those damn books, damn it!

Anyway, how gorgeous is this guy? He’s got a total threehead, his head itself is a little too big for his body, and his tattoos are obviously drawn in by a four year old with a Sharpie. And dude is built like a fourteen year old! Man, just check out those pecs. Hot stuff. If that doesn’t spell sexy for you, bitches, I don’t know what would. And he knows to accessorize too! How much do you love the fish net wrapped around his slender hips like a sarong-belt thing? Hawt! Just you wait till the trend catches on and you’ll be paying 80 bones for it at Anthropologie. Mmm… dude looks like the poster boy for some hot RPG game. I swear I saw him at the Con once and you know what? I’m not even sure if I’m kidding or not.

Shit, I’ve only got Redemption and The Rebel Lord. Bought ‘em from Fictionwise in September of 2005. I didn’t know there was more to the series. I also didn’t know they were so good. I guess I’ll have to read them now. I’ve got over a thousand books on my TBR list. Gray just moved up on the list. Thanks for the tip, Bam.

Hey, Barb, Fey Born and Predestined aren’t a part of the Darkscape series. They’re a new series, entirely. I think there’s only 2 books in the Darkscape series. Anyway, definitely check them out. They’re pretty fun.

Hey Rhian, it’s good to be back! I’ve got a couple of reviews coming up, especially Jack’s new book.

Scary thing here is the face looks scarily like my ex-fiance. I mean, YIKES. So THAT’S what he’s been doing lo these many years: cover modeling for romance novels.

(And hey: thanks, Rhian! Glad you liked!)

Welcome back! I’d noticed that you found a new interest! That cover is hot. In fact, all the covers in the series are pretty nice.

Do any of these guys know how to stand up straight?

Where’s his wings? I mean that backlight must be coming from somewhere, are they flapping too fast that we can’t see them?

No, I suspect the backlight is coming from his radioactive back or butt. And I don’t think he _can_ stand up straight, or he might crack his man-titty or something.

This guy looks like one of those kids, all grown up, from “FLowers in the Attic.”

I really wish they’d put men on the covers of these things who actually looked heterosexual.
