Man, if I bought this one I would just have to skip the L.A. Banks story. Something about her writing just bugs me and its more than just her unnatural dialogue (or monologues) that the characters have. But, I love me some Monica Jackson so I guess this one goes on the TBBWIHM (to be bought when I have money) list.

That one blew me away. When I’m in Dallas in July and I get to go mega-book shopping, I’m gonna look for her backlist. I really liked this story. I’m gonna look for some Janice Sims too.

Thanks for the review, Annie and Bam. I don’t have books by any of these writers except L. A. Banks. So this anthology seems like a good way to check out the rest. I really want to read that Donna Hill story.
