[Bettie Sharpe] enjoys…cutting open the hearts of mere men, and skinning labradoodle puppies for fur. With glee.

Apparently, I need a new coat this winter, and labradoodle fur is quite warm.
:)

But I’m not all bad. I’m kicking around the idea of “selling” one early copy of the full Ember PDF to whoever offers the highest donation to Mercy Corps (I’m not set in stone on the specific charity, but I like Mercy Corps because it offers a wide range of programs and 90% of resources go directly to those programs). The winning buyer could choose the Mercy Corps program and get the tax write off.

The PDF will still be available for free on my site after it finishes its run on “the Serial” (mid January, 2008), but one very determined, generous person could read it five weeks early.

Anyway, I still haven’t figured out all the details yet.

I think Rian is the Prince in his true form. And what a delicious twist if this is true!

Vanessa, that is what I’m tempted to assume, too. But with Bettie, I’m not gonna bet the farm on it, and I sure as hell don’t know what other delicious scenes we’ll get before the final HEA if it is true!

You know, with all the twists, turns, and loopedy-loos to this fairy tale, and now the references to Bettie’s version of other fairy tales, this story has became sort of a “Shrek” for adults!

I agree with Vanessa, but I want to know why if he’s so considerate as Rian he isn’t able to act like that as the Prince.

Like when he put that compulsion on her sister to not sleep until he’d seen Ember, Rian seems like he wouldn’t have done something like that.

Sorry, I’m a sucker for the Prince already. Rian, you’re sweet, but I want to see what happens with HRH.

I think Rian is the Prince in his true form. And what a delicious twist if this is true! At the end of chapter 3 I would have never saw this development coming. In fact the only thing I feel sure about is the HEA. Although, in what form? This story just gets better and better, Bettie.
