Desert Isle Five

Apparently, there’s some kind of meme going on about heroes you’d take on a desert isle. I have no idea how it works. I’m too hopped up on NyQuil. But yeah, Lisabea tapped me to do this.

1) Bruce Wayne (Batman) - you’d want this guy on your island. He’s resourceful like MacGyver, plus he’s super rich. I bet he could get us saved right away.
2) Angus Macgyver (Macgyver)- What this man can do with the spring from a clicker pen and a ball of twine…
3) Eric Northman (Sookie Stackhouse books) - He’s my favorite vampire. I don’t know what he’d do for blood, though. He’d turn me anemic pretty quickly. And where would he hide from the sun during daylight hours?
4) Tony Stark (Iron Man) - He’s like Bruce Wayne, only he’s got more issues, what with the whole “Merchant of Death” thing he’s got going for him. He’s also resourceful. I think he made the Iron Man suit in a cave with the tiny spring from a clicker pen and a ball of twine. Plus the man is brilliant at timing when an explosion is going to go off, which is just as he is walking away from it.
5) Sam/Dean Winchester (Supernatural) - they probably won’t be much use to me. They’re whiners and they fight a lot. But I could use teh pretteh on my island. I could watch them as I starve to death and suffer from heat stroke.

And that’s it.

P.S. Apparently, I totally did this wrong. But oh well, at least you know who I’d take on my desert isle…

    Oh yes Macgyver is so needed on a desert island. He can make a blender out of a rock and a dead carcas of a bird and as for the rum, he can tap it out of a coconut.

    I *wish* it were just a meme. Apparently Katiebabs thinks it’s a battle to the death. I haven’t been threatened so much since I stole the diamonique ring my brother bought for his girlfriend when he was 15!

    But excellent choices, BAM! You should come witness the madness when it starts again tonight.

    Sounds tasty! Mmmm…I think I’d bring Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Arc era) there’s just something about a man with a bullwhip. Plus he has all those cool archeological skills, he could totally tell us where we were and how to get off the island.

    Spike from Buffy, gotta love a bleach blonde vampire with a British accent and that scar! Don’t know how we’d get off the island, though.
