Ya know, I could sit and im someone that long to discuss this book too LOL.
I liked it much better than LU, the dialogue was improved , not so many ” yeah’s ” and “true’s” . AAAAAAAARGH

I need to go back and re-read but in LU wasn’t Jane only able to become “real” again only when V touched her? She was “human” a lot in this book.

I missed Butch in this book. He and JM are the MAIN CHARACTERS to me .

I’m surprised you guys didn’t mention the many annoying product placements. It kept jarring me out of the story(ies).

Eh, what’s the point. Bam already beat that issue to death in her previous reviews of the BDB books.

Honestly, it doesn’t even bother me anymore. I am just way too amused by these Vanilla Ice wannabes now…

Funny review ~ I loled the whole way through. I’m surprised you guys didn’t mention the many annoying product placements. It kept jarring me out of the story(ies). Like did we seriously need to know that blood got on JM’s Abercrombie (or whatever the hell it was) jeans. But the name dropping did for some reason make me think of rappers and their constant name-dropping too. That tacked with the ghetto slang and oy, the Brothers are so wangsta it hurts.

That’s what I’m sayin’. I hate the bastard. I already think Phury’s a big pink pussy (with a lion’s mane…rawrrr), so the fact that he talks to an imaginary wizard isn’t helping me to love him.

I’ve discovered that I pretty much despise anything The Evil One (JRW) puts in italics. If I see italics now, I skim…or, more and more often now, just completely skip them.

But truthfully I thought Don’t Whiz on the Electric Phence was just a device used to show Phury’s inner conflict, and a manifestation of all of his pathetic doubts. It really, really annoyed me.

BTW, GOT MY SHELF COPY BITCHES! WOOT! Oh, and the Borders I got it from only had four copies left. Damn, the Ward fanatics have arrived!
